New Season: Make a pledge

August 15th, 2009

I’m so excited. Looking forward to a season of singing (well I do anyway), cooking in the London sun, getting wet on the bad days and watching (hopefully) great football. Come on the gooners….

Ten Superb Film Title Sequences

August 7th, 2009

I was watching Dawn of the Dead the other day and was struck by just how good the title sequence is. Set to Johnny Cash’s ‘The Man Comes Around’ which is one of my favourite songs it sets up the film wonderfully in roughly 2.30mins. It got me thinking about other films that I have enjoyed title sequences for, here are ten.

Dawn of the Dead – 2004

The Kite Runner – 2007

Hulk – 2003

Se7en – 1995

The Pink Panther – 1963

Thank You For Not Smoking – 2005

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang- 2005

The Thomas Crown Affair- 1968

Casino Royale- 2006

Casino – 1995

How it would be, if a house was dreaming

A friend shared this link with me. It’s a fantastically simple, clever and beautifully executed creative projection entitled “How it would be, if a house was dreaming.” Enjoy
