Jamie Lidell’s ‘You got me Up’ by Konx-om-Pax

Sunday, May 17th, 2009

Yougotmeup is a simple yet beautiful rotoscoped animation by Konx-om-Pax. Over a 6 month period all 2770 frames were traced by hand over the original footage of Jamie Lidell singing. The video’s style was inspired by early 80′s pop promo’s and re-runs of Rubarb and Custard cartoons.
