One Day Project – Part Two: Planet of Sound

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

The second in the series of ‘one day’ motion projects. This one is set to a Pixies track called ‘The Planet of Sound’.

The basis behind these is I set myself one day to create (not including rendering) a video piece set to music. The video created is then intergrated in some way within the next project.

Scott Pagano: Parks on Fire

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

I really, really love this short graphic film. Set to a sweet cinematic soundtrack by Trifonic, it mixes natural forms and landscapes with CG generated hard, metallic, man-made forms. Check out more of Scott Pagano’s work at Neither-field

Quayola: Strata I & II

Monday, July 6th, 2009

These two stunning motion graphics pieces are done by a London based Italian who works under the guise of Quayola. In his own words he describes the pieces “In a dynamic dialogue between sound, image and architecture, the installation plays with history and its image, giving life to a process of metamorphosis which transforms structure and function of the original architectural space.” To see more of his work visit Quayola
